Nongsa Point Marina & Resort : Spanish Colonial Style Architecture with Floating Yachts View

The most interesting thing that keeps people coming to this resort is the floating yacht view. Not only that the eco-friendly environment is also the magnet of this tropical resort. Seen from trees towering along the road that makes anyone want to walk leisurely under it. Coconut trees stay awake around the beach then beautiful flowers that add to the beauty of this resort. You will feel the cool and fresh air if you walk leisurely in the morning from the apartment location to the marina and lobby area.

Aside from being a resort, Nonga Point Marina & Resort is also used to rely on private tourist-owned yacht which are one of several harbour in Indonesia that offer parking facilities for yachts. This port can accommodate around 65 yachts with a size of up to 120 feet. Every year Nongsa Point Marina & Resort always holds international standard sailing events, Nongsa Regatta. At the beginning of the year I participated on that event and alhamdulillah I managed to become the 3rd winner in the blog writing competition.

The lobby area is the most suitable spot for taking photos with floating yachts view. Besides that the lobby building which is also beautiful makes this resort look fancy. We checked in and enjoyed the welcome drink provided while enjoying the beautiful view by relaxing on a chair.

Spanish Colonial Style Architecture

Apartment type (3 bedrooms chalet)

The architecture of Nongsa Point Marina & Resort adopts the spanish colonial style that emphasizes the interplay of cubic volumes, patios, pergolas, verandas,  an asymmetrical plan is the norm. Five massing types include: the side-gabled type, which is rectangular in form and sometimes includes lower side-wing portions; cross-gabled roof, which typically has one front-facing gable and one side facing gable; the hipped-and-gabled roofs; the hipped roof, which tend to be simple rectangular box-shaped houses; and the flat-roof, front entries (door) are often recessed in a deep wall opening. The emphasis is on balconies with balustrades made of wood, plaster or iron rather than elaborate porches of the Victorian styles. Wall materials of the spanish colonial style features smooth, whitewashed, planar, stucco walls, with the emphasis on broad, uninterrupted wall surfaces punctuated by a careful use of openings that are asymmetrically arranged.

My friends and I vacationed to spend time together and chose a 3 bedrooms chalet so that the moments became more quality without limited bulkhead.

The insulated room features a spacious sofa, LED TV, stand lamps and a window overlooking the wooden balcony.At night we chat casually while watching tv. This room really suitable for families to sharing the moments. The balcony in front of this room is dominated by wood materials. Spacious balcony with a beautiful view of shady trees, fresh air immediately smells while relaxing on the balcony wooden chairs.

Consisting of 3 bedrooms that are quite spacious with wooden material floors that make us in the villa in the peak area, the cool atmosphere burst through the room.

Bathroom

The bathroom in type 3 bedrooms this chalet consists of 2, namely in the main room which is equipped with bathup then outside which is between the second and third rooms. In addition there is one toilet that is outside the room and flanked by the second room and the first room.

Kitchen with complete kitchen set

This type of kitchen has enough area to be able to cook together with friends. With a window overlooking the garden, the cooking atmosphere becomes more enjoyable. There are 4 stove axes for cooking with blowers and lights above the stove's axis so that the aroma of cooking does not spread throughout the room and will be sucked by a blower. There is a large refrigerator that can store food, so I recommend if you want to stay here you should shop for groceries from the city and then store them in the refrigerator for later cooking because the location of the resort is far from the city. Besides that, the kitchen set is very complete, ranging from spoons, forks, plates, bowls, glasses, pans, then a pot and also a rice cooker. Then there is a microwave and large oven that can be used for backing or making pizza.

We cooked tomyam and some ready-to-eat foods such as nuggets, sausages, drum stick chicken, French fries and others. After finishing cooking we prepared the fragrant food on the dining table and ate it together. This dining table is quite spacious because it can accommodate 8 of us to eat together. Great holiday, thank you.

Take a leisurely walk in the morning

The aroma that I really like from this resort is salty and the smell of dew in shady tree leaves. Friends and I enjoyed the fresh air by walking on early morning from the apartment to the lobby for breakfast. Beautiful atmosphere is the hallmark of this resort, big trees,downhill to the beach with a beautiful view, thankful it's still given the breath to enjoy this beauty. Then arrived at the beach and was blessed with a beautiful sunrise. Alhamdulillah

Breakfast at Selera Restaurant

After arriving at the lobby we headed to Selera Restaurant for breakfast. Many menus are served, but the one I like most is the bakery with a distinctive aroma backing and it's still warm because it's just coming out of the oven. There are also salads, porridge, heavy foods like rice, live cooking omelets, prata, juices, cereals, various cakes and many more.

My fav Swimming Pool Ever

After satisfied our breakfast proceed to the pool to wet my gills hahaha. From the several swimming pools I have visited, this is the best swimming pool in my opinion. I feel at home linger swim in it. Overlooking the marina with floating yachts view and flanked by white lobby and hotel buildings. Surrounded by palm trees towering, making the swimming pool shady. Then the bridge in the middle of the pool connects the lobby room with the hotel room.

The resort’s swimming pool consists of a children's pool and adult pool. Adult pool has depths ranging from 1.1 m (facing the marina) up to 1.8. (behind with a unique twist) and fountains with greenery surrounding it. In addition there are also umbrellas and relaxing seating by the pool with views of beautiful white villa buildings.

Don't miss the beautiful sunset

For you sunset hunters, I recommend this place to be where you hunt. Sunset here is very beautiful because it is coupled with beautiful views by floating yachts. If the moment is good, you can make silhouette photos with sunset and floating yachts. Many people deliberately come here just to enjoy the beauty of the sunset while brewing afternoon tea with their beloved partner.
